Welcome to Pittsburgh
A vibrant city full of green spaces and fun events
Nestled at the meeting place of three different rivers, Pittsburgh is aptly known as the city of bridges. This hip, urban cityscape is full of gorgeous green spaces, fun nightlife, and a thriving business district. Its unique neighborhoods are sprinkled with gorgeous city parks that add up to 15,000 acres, and the city is actively working toward a sustainable future.
From very early on, Pittsburgh has been an industrial center. It was one of the largest cities in the country until the mid-20th century and provided half of the country’s steel output. It went through a downturn in the 1970s when steel production faded into the background, but Pittsburgh has been revitalized by education, medicine, and smaller manufacturing industries.
English Tudor, modern masterpieces, classic Colonials, and charming bungalows are just some of the gorgeous architecture to be found in Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods. Whether you’re looking for something charming and cozy or sweeping and dramatic, you’ll be able to find it nestled amongst the trees.
